About us
A small beading table, a long-standing craft
Moccasins Delight is a family workshop making Indigenous-style beaded moccasins, mukluks and children’s pairs for customers across Canada. Every pair leaves the table having been checked stitch by stitch.
Made to order
Nothing is mass produced. Each pair is cut and beaded after your payment arrives, which is why we ask about sizing before anything else.
Materials we trust
Smoked and tanned hide, Czech glass seed beads, waxed sinew thread and fur trim. Hides are sourced from Canadian suppliers.
Designs with respect
We work in floral and geometric traditions and we are glad to bead a design that matters to your family. We do not copy another artist’s pattern without permission.

All orders are shipped. We do not offer pickup, so please make sure your mailing address is one you can receive parcels at.

The things customers ask before ordering
How long until my moccasins arrive?
Standard order processing is 3 days from the day your e-transfer arrives, then your tracked parcel ships. Full Beaded uppers and fully custom designs take longer to bead, and we confirm that timeline by email once your payment is received.
How much do moccasins cost?
Price is set by size, the same for every design: size 5 is $155, rising to $410 for a size 13. Choosing Full Beaded adds a flat $180, and shipping is charged separately. You see one fixed final price before you order — never an estimate.
What do the beadwork options add?
There are two options. Normal is the beaded vamp shown on the design and is included in the size price. Full Beaded carries beadwork across the whole upper and adds a flat $180 to the size price — the same on every design and every size, so your total is fixed before you order.
What does shipping cost?
$25 to Alberta and Saskatchewan, and $40 to every other Canadian province and territory. Shipping is charged once per order, no matter how many pairs are in it.
Can I pick up my order locally?
No — we do not offer local pickup. Every order is shipped to a Canadian mailing address.
How do I make sure the size is right?
Pick your usual shoe size, or choose “Custom — I will send a foot tracing”. For a tracing, stand on a sheet of paper with your weight on the foot, trace around it with the pencil upright, and send us a photo along with the heel-to-toe measurement in centimetres. Moccasins should sit snug, not tight.
Can you bead a design I send you?
Yes. Attach up to five reference photos to your order and tell us about the colours and the meaning behind the design. We will bead your own or your family’s design gladly, and we will not copy another artist’s pattern without their permission.
How do I pay?
Interac e-Transfer only — we do not accept credit cards or any online card payment. When you place your order we show your final amount and our e-transfer address, delightedmoccasins@gmail.com. Include your full name and order number in the transfer message so we can match your payment, and beading begins once it arrives. Questions? Call 587-887-6312.
How should I care for them?
Keep them for indoor or dry-weather wear, brush off dirt with a soft dry brush, and let them air dry away from heat if they get damp. Never machine wash beaded hide.
